Ben Wagner recieves the 2014 Member Merit Award

During the recent fall conference, the Board of UNYSLA was delighted to acknowledge the significant contributions that Ben Wagner has made to UNYSLA over the years by awarding him the 2014 Upstate New York Chapter Member Merit Award.  This award recognizes individuals for outstanding achievement and service to SLA and the Chapter and honors chapter members with a record of distinguished service in the organization and the association.  Congratulations, Ben!

2015 Election Results

President – Elect; Stephanie JH McReynolds, Syracuse University
Stephanie JH McReynolds is new to the area, having relocated last year in order to accept the business librarian position at Syracuse University Libraries, but she is not new to SLA. She has served the St. Louis Chapter as newsletter editor, membership director, president-elect, and president. Stephanie is looking forward to the prospect of continuing her SLA service and getting to know local SLA members better by planning UNYSLA conferences as president-elect.
