President – Elect; Stephanie JH McReynolds, Syracuse University
Stephanie JH McReynolds is new to the area, having relocated last year in order to accept the business librarian position at Syracuse University Libraries, but she is not new to SLA. She has served the St. Louis Chapter as newsletter editor, membership director, president-elect, and president. Stephanie is looking forward to the prospect of continuing her SLA service and getting to know local SLA members better by planning UNYSLA conferences as president-elect.

Voting for the 2014 UNYSLA Board elections is now open!

The 2014 UNYSLA Board elections are now open and will end by 5:00 pm on November 12th.  The results will be announced via email after the voting period has ended and listed on this website shortly thereafter.

UNYSLA members should have received the ballot in their email. Please contact Jim DelRosso, UNYSLA President, with any questions or concerns.

2014 SLA Board of Directors Election Results

The election for the Special Libraries Association (SLA) Board of Directors drew to a close on Wednesday, 25 September, with 25.47% of SLA members casting votes. The voting resulted in 5 members being elected to the association’s 2014 Board of Directors:

*       President-Elect: Jill Strand
*       Chapter Cabinet Chair-Elect: James King
*       Division Cabinet Chair-Elect: Juliane Schneider
*       Director: Moy McIntosh
*       Director: Bethan Ruddock

UNYSLA Announces New Board Members

UNYSLA Announces New Board Members

Elections for the 2013 UNYSLA executive board have ended and we are pleased to announce that the following individuals were elected.

Jenna Mayotte – President-Elect

Ken Bolton – Vendor Relations

Ruth Owens – Treasurer

As a result of the election, Virginia Young will take over for Jenna Mayotte as Secretary for the remainder of her term.

The four new board members will begin their terms in January 2013.
