Cornell University – Museum Digitization Technician

This position requires expertise in basic curatorial methods associated with natural history collections of vertebrates. Under the supervisor of the Curators (Friel & Bostwick), will be responsible for various tasks directly related to digitizing, databasing and archiving ancillary assets linked to voucher specimens in the CUMV fish and bird collections, and associated media recordings in the Macaulay Library (ML) at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. This technician will work closely with the Curators (Friel & Bostwick) to develop and implement procedures and protocols to maximize the utility of these digital assets, and ensure proper links to all metadata for associated voucher specimens.
