Project Archivist, Cornell University (Ithaca)

RMC is searching for a Project Archivist to coordinate the arrangement and description of the archives of Atlantic Philanthropies.   Reporting to the Atlantic Philanthropies Archives Project Lead, and in close coordination with the Atlantic Philanthropies Archives Processing Assistant, the Project Archivist will be responsible for the arrangement and description of approximately 2000 cubic feet of records, plus a significant volume of electronic records. In addition, the Project Archivist will oversee the identification and referral of items for conservation treatment as necessary, and the preparation of an EAD-encoded finding aid and other descriptive access tools.   This is a benefits-eligible, three year term position.   Application Deadline is September 16, 2016.
