The College of Saint Rose invites applicants for the tenure track faculty position of Serials, Interlibrary Loan and Electronic Resources Librarian, a full-time 12 month appointment reporting to the Director of Library Services.  We are seeking a capable, self-directed individual who is able to effectively oversee the management of serials, interlibrary loan and electronic resources  while also serving as a collegial member of a team of librarians who work together to deliver effective reference and instruction services.  The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of library technologies and awareness of the current trend in the field of electronic resources.

Undergraduate Education Librarians (Senior Assistant Librarians), University at Buffalo

 The University at Buffalo Libraries seek three innovative, energetic, and service-oriented undergraduate education librarians to join a team of professional colleagues responsible for the design, delivery, and assessment of instruction services and programming that contribute to student success and research excellence. The undergraduate education librarians will provide information literacy instruction to first-year students through embedded sessions in the Communication Literacy I course.  This course is a core requirement of the new UB Curriculum and focuses on college-level research and writing. The incumbents will collaborate with university teaching faculty to weave library research into courses and provide information literacy competency assessments, where appropriate, within the courses.

Senior Library Clerk, Mirand Library at Roswell Park Cancer Institute

The Senior Library Clerk is responsible for the physical maintenance of the Library’s entire print collection of monographs and periodicals. Print materials are shelved in the third floor of the Library and also in the second floor Library storage space. The second floor library storage includes the pre-1900 monographs (books) and journals (periodicals). The Senior Clerk is responsible for an accurate (electronic) database inventory of the Library’s entire print journal collection and for notifying the library staff in charge of journal purchases and the claiming (requesting) of missing journal issues.

Reference Librarian- University at Albany Libraries

The University at Albany Libraries (State University of New York, Albany, NY) seek a dynamic Reference Librarian to provide reference and research consultation services in the University and Science libraries to students, faculty, staff and community users.  Reference delivery methods include face-to-face, telephone, chat, and individual appointment. Some evening and weekend hours required.  The successful candidate will serve as the subject librarian for the journalism and newspaper collections and as subject liaison to faculty and students in the Journalism program.  This position evaluates and selects resources, provides instruction, and develops and maintains tools to promote and facilitate access to research resources, including online research guides.  Tenure-track library faculty at the University at Albany, SUNY, are expected to engage in research, publication, and service to the Libraries, the University, and the profession, as required for promotion and continuing appointment. This position reports to the Head of the Reference and Research Services Department.
