Digital Literacy and Instructional Design Librarian, Suny Canton

The Southworth Library Learning Commons at SUNY Canton seeks a tech-savvy, creative, service-oriented librarian with the skills to investigate and implement innovative technologies and learning services in a fast-paced, student-centered, collaborative environment.

This is a full-time, twelve-month, faculty position within the Academic Support Services and Instructional Technologies Division, reporting to the Director of Library Services.  Hours of obligation for this position are 12 p.m. (noon) to 8 p.m., Sunday through Thursday during the academic terms.  Summer and winter obligation follows building hours of operation.

Binghamton University Libraries seek an enthusiastic, collegial, and service-oriented Cataloging Librarian to serve as an integral part of a team providing high quality cataloging services. The Cataloging Librarian performs original and adjusted cataloging and authority control for all formats; resolves complex bibliographic problems associated with all formats; creates metadata for digital collections; participates in planning, implementing, and evaluating cataloging operations and workflows; and collaborates with staff and department heads across the Libraries to implement cross-functional initiatives. Instructional Services Librarian, Morrisville State College

Morrisville State College invites applications for a full-time, tenure track instructional services librarian. The successful candidate will assume the lead role in guiding information literacy instruction that addresses experiential learning and workplace applications to a diverse learning community. Information literacy duties include overseeing a busy schedule of one-shot instruction sessions and a one credit information literacy course, seeking opportunities to provide online and in-person information literacy guidance to both students and faculty, and assessment of the impact of information literacy instruction. Responsibilities also include oversight and assessment of Ask 24/7 reference services and participation in library program development and implementation. Additional duties include providing reference services, subject area liaison services including collection development and authoring course/subject guides, and participation on campus-wide faculty committees.
