PT Librarian – SUNY Polytechnic Institute

Position Title: Utica – Assistant Librarian-Part Time

Employment is with the SUNY Polytechnic Institute

Description of Duties:

The part time reference librarian works approximately 28 hours per week to support students during the evening hours and weekends. The librarian will work at Reference Desk providing in-person and online reference assistance. Other reasonable duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• 3 -5 years library experience required;
• Bachelors degree required, master library science preferred from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or other internationally recognized accrediting organization
• Currency with new technologies along with evidence of using technology to enhance student learning.
• Must be able to work evening and weekend reference desk assignments.
