Today’s the deadline for SLA 2015 Contributed Papers Proposals

SLA’s last call for for contributed paper proposals:

15 Minutes of Fame, a Lasting Contribution

Andy Warhol famously (pardon the pun) said that “In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes.” But what does 15 minutes of fame really get you, other than a few more “likes” on Facebook and some selfies with total strangers?

On the other hand, if you spend 15 minutes presenting a contributed paper at the SLA 2015 Annual Conference, you can earn the gratitude of your peers, the satisfaction of knowing you’re making a lasting contribution to research in your field, and, possibly, free registration to the SLA 2016 Annual Conference in Philadelphia. But you must act now—proposals for contributed papers are due Monday, December 1.
