Rochester Early- Career Information Professionals (RECIP) group – November Meeting

November meeting of the Rochester Early- Career Information Professionals (RECIP) group.

When: 7:15pm, Tuesday, November 19th
Where: Hawkins-Carlson Room, Rush Rhees Library, University of Rochester (1st floor) – for directions, see below.
What: “A day in the life of…” lightening talks! Come and share with us what it means to be a librarian in your organization. What cool projects are you working on? What ideas do you have? What are some of your challenges? Speakers include Dan Trout, librarian at URMC and Brian DiNitto- a substitute library in the public libraries. Want to present?

We’ll also begin our planning for our Fall 2014 Leadership Summit funded by the Harold Hacker Award. Want to get involved?!? Come and bring your ideas!

Parking Directions:
After 7pm, parking is free in the Library Lot (http://goo.gl/maps/USqek). Rush Rhees Library is the large building next to this lot. Walk around either side of the building to the Eastman Quad, and enter the library from the doors on the quad. Once you’re in the lobby, the Hawkins Carlson Room will be on your right. Look for the signs!
