Salary: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
Closing Date: April 29, 2013

This is a part-time position, to work up to 17 hours per week, beginning approximately June 1, 2013.  No benefits.

DESCRIPTION: The Student Technology Coordinator will report to the Director of Library Services and is responsible for the assisting students in the use of educational technology in the library, classrooms, and off campus via telephone and e-mail.

The Student Technology Coordinator is also responsible for designing and conducting technology workshops for students developing training materials, hiring and training student technology tutors, and troubleshooting technology problems, and also participates in the development of electronic resources for students.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s degree required.  Must possess strong written and interpersonal communication skills.  Master’s degree in Library Science or enrollment in an MLS program; and teaching/tutoring experience is desirable.
