Syracuse U – Temporary Resident Librarian

Are you a technology geek who also has people skills? Do you get truly excited about the Library profession? Do you have great ideas? How about the initiative and persistence to make those great ideas a reality? Can you lead a work team in a common direction? If you’ve answered yes to these questions consider applying! We’d like to talk with you.

We’ll provide a variety of experiences in a supportive setting. You’ll have opportunities to learn more about the basics and go beyond the traditional. We’ll be looking to you for fresh ideas and the energy to make them a reality here, or at least help us test them out and see what we all learn.

The Learning Commons (LC) Resident Librarian serves a two-year appointment. We encourage members of historically underrepresented groups (e.g. Asian American/Pacific Islander, Native American, Latino, African American, persons with disabilities)to apply.

This is an entry level, temporary, 24 month, benefits eligible position.
