Developing a Social Media “Records” Governance Strategy

Developing a Social Media “Records” Governance Strategy
Patricia C. Franks, PhD, CRM

Social media technologies enable conversations and interactions among individuals in the form of text, images, audio, and video often developed in an ad hoc and collaborative manner, resulting in information that may be transient in nature. However, in spite of this seemingly informal, user-friendly method of engaging in such exchanges, records are often created and must be managed. Attend this workshop to obtain advice on using social media and managing resulting within your organization, including accepted RIM best practices and effective governance policy.
